We support our volunteers so they are fully prepared to travel to Ethiopia. We will provide you with all the information you will need to get ready in a comprehensive travel package. In addition, our staff know that you will have LOTS of questions and we are happy to answer any questions you may have.

Expeditions to Ethiopia are between $4,000 and $5,000 per individual, depending on flight costs. This amount covers your return flight to Ethiopia, accomodations, in-country travel, and a Canadian Humanitarian project fee. Meals and incidentals are at your own expense. The total amount payable to Canadian Humanitarian is tax deductible. Once a payment is received a tax receipt is issued, therefore it is non-refundable. Check out our blog for past expedtion reports.

Many expedition participants choose to fundraise by asking friends and family to help contribute. Once you have signed up for an expedition our office will keep track of all donations that come in on your behalf and keep you updated regularly as to how much you have raised.

If you are interested in joining us on an expedition, fill out the waiver in the Expedition Information Booklet. For more information on Canadian Humanitarian expeditions contact our coordinator.
