Canadian Humanitarian believes in being accountable to its supporters. In line with our Values and Beliefs, our administration costs are kept to a minimum so that the programs we support are getting the maximum benefits possible. We currently have one full time employee, one full time volunteer and a once a week bookeeper. A local church offers us very reasonable rent. We also rely heavily on our volunteer base across Canada. Our goal is to operate on 15% administration. This allows 85% of all donations to go to assisting our projects in Ethiopia and Haiti.
Each year we file a Charitable Tax Return with the Canadian Revenue Agency. View our charitable returns.
