Go On An Expedition

Volunteer to assist Canadian Humanitarian on two week humanitarian expedition to Ethiopia or Haiti.  If you would like more information on participating in an expedition visit our Expeditions page.

Become A Member or Fundraiser

Would you like to be a member of Canadian Humanitarian?  Membership is free and members are invited to join our Fundraising Committee, Project Committee or Communications Commitee.  Members, and supporters, can also help us by putting up posters and handing out pamphlets in their office, gym, school, church or organziation.  Contact Sandra to obtain posters or pamphlets. 

Anyone can fundraise for Canadian Humanitarian.  At birthday parties, anniversaries, weddings, and baby showers ask for donations to Canadian Humanitarian in lieu of gifts.  Put on a musical night or sports tournament.  Host a Lunches for Literacy or a Dinner and art auction.  The possibilities are endless - your fundraising efforts, regardless of how much they raise, will help disadvantaged children in Ethiopia.

Become A Sponsor

Individuals, families, corporations, and foundations are invited to show their support. Sponsorships of over $500 will be listed in our quarterly newsletter that reaches over 1200 individuals.  Companies that contribute over $1,000 will have their logo added to our website which is viewed daily by hundreds of individuals all across Canada.

Sponsor A Child

For only $30 a month you can make a difference in the life of a child at the Kid's Hope Ethiopia or PATH Ethiopia centers. 

When you sponsor a child through Canadian Humanitarian - for $1 a day - your contribution is combined with those from other sponsors to support the project your child is enrolled in. Your funds not only greatly benefit your sponsored child, but your child's family and community.

Through regular updates and correpsondence with your sponsored child you will will witness the impact of your support.  You will also be able to develop a special relationship with your sponsored child through letters and drawings and watch them succeed with your assistance.

Child sponsorship is a valuable way to make a dramatic and lasting difference in the life of a child caught in the cycle of poverty.   As one person, you can change the future of an impoverished child, their family and their community.

As a grassroots organziation Canadian Humanitarian is grateful for donations of all sizes.  We have a substantial long-term financial commitment to Kid's Hope, LiGA School, Support Street Children and Mothers and PATH Ethiopia to help them operate their projects.  Please help us support these projects.  A general donation to Canadian Humanitarian will be put towards projects most in need of funding.
